Guelphs premiere film studio/production company Black Fawn Films will be presenting Carrer's fourth coming feature film "IF A TREE FALLS". Chad Archibald, founder of Black Fawn Films is also a producer on the film along with writer Ryan Barrett. Kevin Lane and Limestyle Productions have also come on board to assist in other areas.The film is currently in post-production for sound/foley and plays hommage to the true grindhosue era. Siblings, Brad and Lisa Carpenter, along with two lifelong family friends, Will and Vanessa, set out to cross Eastern Canada énroute to an annual family reunion. Their road trip takes them through the scenic, isolated countryside of New Brunswick, on a blistering hot summer day. They eventually make the decision to find an appealing place to stop halfway, and camp for the night. The group thinks they have found the perfect haven, when they are awakened by strange noises in the forest.

Carrer's second feature film presented by Black Fawn Films which was co-written and co-directed by Chad Archibald is now offically completed. Check back often for release date status and information. After being jolted awake by a piercing alarm, six complete strangers find themselves the new tenants of a mysterious old house. With speakers and video cameras wired throughout, it becomes disturbingly apparent that someone is watching them. With the only link between the captives being a bizarre phone call that they all received a few days before, the strangers soon discover that they're not just captives, but contestants in what becomes a twisted game of survivalism. Terrorized by a group of ritualistic Tiki-men and taunted by their deranged captors, Jeremy, Emma, Lauren, Richard, Kirk and Sherri soon find the walls around them closing in at an alarming rate. With nowhere to hide and with time running out, it soon becomes clear that only one singular action will lead to each captive's escape and salvation: Kill everyone! |
